ALYSSUM montanum. Europe. A charming little perennial for the rock garden. It makes mounds 6-10" tall and has slender stems, neatly lined with narrow, greyish leaves. Clusters of fragrant yellow blossoms are produced continuously at the shoot tips from late spring to fall. Sun, reasonably well drained soil, moderate to occasional watering when established. Hardy to 0oF or less.
