ANDROMEDA polifolia Nana. Bog rosemary. Arctic and sub-arctic regions. A delicately textured small shrub for the rock garden or azalea bed. It forms dense mounds 8-12" tall, clothed with narrow grey green leaves. In spring it bears masses of tiny lantern shaped blossoms, painted pink and white. Part shade (except near the coast), loose, acid soil, constant moisture. Hardy to below 0oF.
