GEUM. Worldwide, cooler regions. These are clumping or creeping perennials with fuzzy, divided leaves. Their flowers resemble little roses and are displayed, often well above the foliage on graceful, branched stems, in spring, summer and sometimes fall. Sun, well drained soil, moderate watering. Hardy to below 0oF.

coccineum ‘Red Wings’. This is a prolific plant, making broad, dense clumps with deeply veined 4-6" leaves. The branched flower stems rise 12-18" from the clumps in spring and summer, displaying many vivid scarlet blossoms.

Georgenburg Sport’. Our own selection, originating as either a genetic mutation or seedling (these things are seldom clear) of Georgenburg’. It has broadly lobed 3-4" leaves and 8-18” stems, produced mostly in March and April. The large blossoms are colored a bright, flat orange.
