CALOCEPHALUS brownii. Cushion bush. A most intriguing small shrub from Australia. It is intricately branched, with white stems and tiny leaves so tightly pressed to the stems as to blend into them. Half-inch button-shaped heads of tiny yellow flowers appear at the stem ends in summer. Sun, well drained soil, little watering when established. Hardy to around 20oF.
