CERASTIUM tomentosum. Snow-in-summer. Italy, Sicily. An easy and attractive perennial forming compact low mats of light grey foliage. Clusters of small white round-petalled flowers blanket the plant in June. Sun, reasonably well drained soil, moderate to occasional watering when established. Hardy to below 0oF.
