x HEUCHERELLA. A group of intergeneric hybrids between Heuchera (mostly H. sanguinea) and Tiarella (primarily T. wherryi), most resembling the second parent. They make dense clumps only a few inches high. The leaves are roughly heart shaped, with pointed lobes. Many slender stems issue from the clumps in spring and summer, displaying profuse clusters of small blossoms, white to deep pink in color. They are pretty plants for low borders, rock gardens, shady nooks and containers. They thrive in sun or shade near the coast, part shade inland, with reasonably well drained soil and constant moisture. Hardy to 0oF or less.
Bridget Bloom. This was our original offering. It makes lush hummocks of bright green leaves, marked with red. In spring it displays dozens of bright pink blossoms on each 8-12" stem.
Pink Frost. This is a more recent introduction, somewhat more robust than the last. It has patterned bright green leaves and 12-18" stems, carrying pretty light pink flowers, beginning in spring and extending well into summer.
White Stripes. An extremely floriferous selection with 12" stems, further distinguished by the cream-white color of its flowers.
