ARTEMISIA. Wormwood, sagebrush. Widespread in Europe, Asia, N. America. Grey leaved, often aromatic perennials and shrubs for banks and borders. Sun, well drained soil, little supplemental watering, except as noted. Hardiness varies.

schmidtiana ‘Silver Mound’, Angel's hair, is a herbaceous perennial, forming a dense mound 6-12" tall each year from a compact base. The stems are densely clothed with finely dissected, silvery leaves. The plant dies to the ground each winter. A nice rock garden and border plant. It should have moderate watering through the summer. Hardy to below 0^oF.
