CLIANTHUS
puniceus. Parrots beak. With some pruning this New Zealander is
a graceful, arching shrub. Left to its own devices, it is nearly a vine, scrambling
to 10 or more. It has attractive dark green, drooping leaves about 6"
long, divided into many leaflets. In summer clusters of pendant beak shaped
2" blossoms are displayed along the stems. White
