GRAPTOPETALUM paraguayense. Mexico. Ghost plant. An odd succulent perennial of the sedum family. It is sprawling in habit though well-branched. The leaves are up to 2" long, quite thick and pointed at the tips. They emerge with a distinct rosy cast, becoming grey-green with bronze undertones. In early spring it displays waxy pale yellow 3/4" blossoms, spotted with red. This is an interesting plant for rock gardens, succulent menageries and containers. Sun or light shade, well drained soil, moderate to occasional watering. Hardy to around 20oF.
