ISOTOMA axillaris. Queensland to Victoria. A bushy perennial growing a little over 1’ tall, with pale stems and narrowly dissected, light green leaves. Lavender blue flowers, with narrow petals spreading starlike from a long, narrow tube dot the plant from spring to fall. Its main drawback is tenderness to cold. Sun, well drained soil, moderate watering. Hardy to around 25oF.
