TETRATHECA thymifolia. Black-eyed Susan (in Australia; here, of course, the same common name is applied to an eastern daisy). A bushy, slender stemmed Australian shrub, probably 2' tall in this selection from the U.C. Santa Cruz Arboretum. It has small, narrow, dark green leaves whorled around the stems and in summer displays many pendant 1/2" blossoms of rose pink, with black centers. A beautiful plant for banks and larger rock gardens. Sun, well drained soil, moderate to little watering when established. Probably hardy to 20oF.
