It begins the season as a 1 fountain of bright green, shiny, grass-like leaves. In late spring a stout, leafy flowering stalk emerges, rising to 2-3 and displaying a dense plume of small rose-lavender flower heads over several weeks. Sun, most soils, moderate to occasional watering. Hardy to below 0oF.
