Low spreading form of California sagebrush was introduced by the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden. Expanded (with moisture) leaves in winter are silvery green; summer leaves are narrow and silver if kept dry. Most natural forms of this shrub are more upright and rangy. This one stays low and makes a loose ground cover. Sun, good drainage, moderate to little watering.
