Low tight hummocks are 6 inches high, with very narrow blue grey leaves. Flowering stems reach over 18 inches and are silvery to pale pink in color. Both these and the glistening seed heads are most attractive. This selection was introduced by the Botanic Garden at Tilden Regional Park. Best in sun, with well drained soil, and moderate to little supplemental watering when established. Hardy to 0 degrees F. or less.
