Evergreen leaves on arching stems are covered with short hairs that can be irritating to the skin. Tawny orange and yellow flowers are showy in spring and early summer. This selection of flannel bush is much shorter and somewhat more spreading than the large hybrids. Best planted in full sun, in well drained soil with little to no summer watering when established.
