Rare in nature, this perennial is found in a limited area of New Mexico. Dark green leaves are low and narrow. Flowering stems to 2 feet carry many tubular violet flowers along one side of the stem. Summer bloom. Sun or part shade, reasonably drained soil, moderate to occasional watering.
