This rampant deciduous vine has spectacular flowers. A hybrid between C. grandiflora and C. radicans, 'Madame Galen' combines the broad-faced blossoms of the first parent with the vigor and hardiness of the second. It has beautifully lacquered, dark green leaves. The blossoms are nearly 3 inches across and orange-red at the face, with lighter shading on the tube. Sun or light shade, most soils, moderate watering when established. Hardy to 0 degrees F. or less when established.
