Glossy evergreen clumping foliage is a bright yellow green, topped by tan seedheads in the spring. This low sedge makes a fine pathway in shady gardens, where the bright foliage illuminates moonlight walks. It is excellent in dry shade and can be combined with ferns. It is moderately drought tolerant when established.
