This is a small perennial of delicate appearance, making a mound 6-12 inches tall. It has closely branched, slender stems, set with nearly round, dark green leaves, 1/4-1/2 inches long. It blooms in spring and fall, or almost continuously in our coastal climate. Small violet flowers marked with white, much resembling little snapdragons, are clustered above the leaves. It is a nice addition to the rock garden, or for banks and walls. Sun, well drained soils, moderate watering.
