These are tinged with red in new growth and turn bright orange in fall and winter. The large, open flower clusters have showy orange-red bracts and are vivid in early summer. Sun, most fertile soils, moderate watering. Hardy to around 0 degrees F. Milky sap from cut stems of all Euphorbia is toxic and irritating to skin. Avoid planting near paths or places where children or pets play.
