Evergreen in mild winter areas, this Viburnum utile x V. carlesii hybrid is semi-evergreen in colder areas. It grows at a moderate rate and becomes dense in maturity. Cluster of fragrant white flowers open from pink buds in early spring. Introduced in 1924.
